Stuck On Stupid -- A Case Study

The man enumerates Lincoln's point succinctly, that we each have a natural right to Liberty -- that we own the fruits of our labor and that government should not be allowed to take it from us.

...and her retort is to ask "Did you know Illinois gets $50 billion in stimulus money?"

Mrs. Roesgen is an ignorant fool. Where does she think those $50 billion came from? If she thinks it's a good thing that the people of Illinois get money, why should government first take it from them? Why not cut out the middle man and let them keep their own money?

Then she has the audacity to say "not for family viewing." She whipped the group into a fervor and basically says "see, look at these whackos!" Talk about dishonesty. It's surprising what's considered "news" these days. They blame Fox for funding the thousands of grassroots protests because they believe Fox is a sham.

No, Susan. Fox isn't the sham. YOU and your sorry excuse for a network are the sham. You are unthinking and stupid for failing to think critically about the subject. (I'm not calling names here, I'm just stating facts.)

You are so afraid to question your own liberal education. You're afraid that if you do a little thinking, you might have to admit you've been wrong all these years. Or perhaps you've already realized you're wrong, and you're spinning the news to cover your own ignorance.

...much like a dog covers his feces.

Susan Roesgen, you are without honor. You are void of any ethical or moral substance. You ought to be ashamed of yourself.

Update

Someone please explain something to me...Explain how people like Susan Roesgen are perfectly happy paying the same insane tax rates that I pay.

After the guy mentioned "Liberty" she asked, "What does that have to do with taxes?" Does she not realize that if she's in a 50% tax bracket that she spends half of her time working for the government? Wouldn't she rather spend that time with family and friends, or working to further improve her quality of life? Well...she probably doesn't have any friends, but come on, does she think working for the benefit of government is better than working for the benefit of herself?

Can she really be that stupid?
