Slavery Rampant In U.S.A.

No, that's not just an attention grabbing headline. It's my honest assessment of the moral atrocity that's been slowly building since the end of the Civil War.

During the Civil War, it's estimated 700,000 Americans died fighting to decide whether states have the right to institute slavery. Resoundingly, the federal government won that argument. However, the result isn't the one you've been taught.

The first income tax was instituted, ironically, to pay for the war that most believe abolished slavery -- the Civil War. Congress passed the Revenue Act of 1861 that created a 3% tax on incomes over $800. Perhaps that's what they mean when the say "the good ole days." The top income tax rate has steadily increased, peaking at 94% of incomes over $200,000 during World War 2.

The old phrase "time is money" is just as true today as it was back then. It is the key to understanding how we've all been born into indentured servitude. Considering the federal income tax alone, if you make $33,950 in 2009, the federal government will take 25% of your income. That is, you spent 25% of your time working for the federal government.

Fifteen minutes of every hour you work are spent toiling away for the sake of the federal government. Imagine the possibility of spending 25% less time at work. If you're working forty hours per week, you could spend 10 more hours with family and friends. Instead, that time is taken from you. You'll never get those hours back. They're gone.

Every American is born into a bondage that takes our time on this Earth away from us.

Every American is born into slavery.

Today, thousands of Americans will protest the chains government places on us. If you, too are upset that government -- the organization that's supposed to work for your benefit -- is your greatest burden, join us.

Will you fight against slavery? Or will you allow those who come after you to be born into slavery too?
