Obama Funds Embryo Destruction While CBS Runs Cover

President Obama plans to sign an executive order Monday lifting restrictions on federal funding for embryonic stem cell research, in the latest reversal of his predecessor's policies.

In the left's omnipresent drive to subsidize all that is immoral, Barry-O ensures taxpayer dollars can be used to fund controversial human embryo destruction. President Bush is still savaged for his refusal to commit taxpayer dollars. Here's CBS News' headline for the same story...

Obama Ending Bush's Stem Cell Research Ban

The only problem is that Bush never banned stem cell research. He simply prevented federal financing of research that would destroy human embryos. Scientists could still use any of 78 existing empryonic stem cell lines. They could continue stem cell research with stem cells harvested from adults. They could also continue to destroy human embryos, but with private funding.

CBS should be apologize for their gross mischaracterization of the issue.
