Congressman Won't Apologize For 'Tyranny-phobic' Letter

Representative Virgil Goode of Virginia is under attack by the anti-freedom left. Mr. Goode wrote a letter to constituents warning that "if American citizens don't wake up and adopt the Virgil Goode position on immigration there will likely be many more Muslims elected to office and demanding the use of the Koran." The Council for American Islamic Relations, CAIR, a group with known terrorist roots, has demanded an apology:

What should we expect from the defenders of tyranny and oppression? Islam is a tyrannical religion whose objective is to set up a substitute justice system; Sharia law. Islamic courts are already in place throughout Europe where parties can "settle out of court" then resolve their dispute in a Sharia court. As in this case, CAIR seeks to depict anyone who defends Liberty as "bigots." The characterization is disgusting and only serves to depict how threatening a group like CAIR is to personal freedom.

CAIR depicts itself as opposed to the principles of Liberty, and so does CNN.

Of the fact that Islam is a totalitarian religion, there is no doubt. Why an organization such as CNN seeks to promote oppression and subjugation is beyond me.
