Ben Stein The Appeaser
I'm dissappointed. Ben Stein, respected conservative, has lost his sense of duty.
In an interview with NewsMax pundit Steve Malzberg, who was filling in as host on "The Mike Gallagher Radio Show" on Salem Radio, Stein declared: "We're losing the war. We're three years in and things are getting worse."
And he concludes the interview with:
We were better off with Saddam.
Hmm.
We were better off with Saddam.
We were better off with Saddam?
Funny. I didn't take Ben for a save-his-own-neck kind of guy.
I'll retort by quoting Ronald Reagan's 'A Time For Choosing':
We cannot buy our security, our freedom from the threat of terrorism by committing an immorality so great as saying to twenty six million human beings now enslaved under a brutal dictator, "Give up your dreams of freedom because to save our own skins, we're willing to make a deal with your slave master."
Mr. Stein, you should be ashamed of yourself.
