SF blog laws... I dismissed em, so sould you
I first read lastnight about San Francisco's intention to regulate bloggers.
Just when you thought the Federal Election Commission had it out for the blogosphere, the San Francisco Board of Supervisors took it up a notch and announced yesterday that it will soon vote on a city ordinance that would require local bloggers to register with the city Ethics Commission."
The full text of the proposal may be read here.
Being from San Francisco, I was initially angered enough to consider discussing the issue at my own blog. Good sense, as it usually does, won out, when I realized that this is just much of the same from People's Republic of San Francisco.
Don't forget about this good intentioned, yet highly unconstitutional proposal...

So much for the freedom of speech in "The City."
